Description: "Legend of the Thousand Cranes" and "Hearts of Love" panels were designed by artist Stephania Luciani on a commission by Advanta Corporation. Interpreted in stained glass mosaics and fabricated by Art Glass Ensembles studio under the supervision of Stephania Luciani.
Dimensions: "Legend of the Thousand Cranes" panel approximately 7' wide x 5 1/2' high. "Hearts of Love" panel approximately 5' wide x 5 1/2' tall.

Date: 1998
Construction: Over 40,000 hand-cut and ground stained glass mosaic tiles and jewels installed on mahogany backing board and frame. Backing board was painted with reflective white paint prior to mosaic'ing. Tiles attached using Red Devil glue, which was also used as the grout between pieces. Actual cancer patients from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia helped in the placement of the tiles. Each child's name was inscribed on a piece of glass tile and fitted into the artwork.
Installation: Attached to wall studs using offset angled wooden hanging system for supporting artwork of significant weight.
