Entryway Sidelight detail
An integrated set of front entryway sidelight and transom. This design is based upon the South African landscape around Port Elizabeth. It features the dynamic ocean front and native South African flame aloe plants.
Date: Dec. 2005
Location: private residence, Coppell, TX
Construction: All pieces are copper foil technique. Armstrong, Youghiogheny, Kokomo, Uroborus, Spectrum opalescent glass used. Framed in 1/4" zinc with black patina. The transom has three vertical rebar pieces for additional strength.
Installation: Hanging from hand-made twisted copper wire loops soldered into the panel.
