Commissioned in 2006 and completed in 2007, this mosaic artwork is of "Jesus and the Children" and features recognizable members of the congregation as young people surrounding Jesus.  This piece is approximately 11 feet wide x 5 1/2 feet high arched.  It is constructed on a marine-grade multi-plywood form supplied by the architect, and is mounted into the top arch of the new Education Wing at First United Methodist Church of Denton, Texas.

If you look closely, besides the figures of Christ and the children, there is a black and white dog, red amarylis flowers, and a crutch in the artwork.
