Each is a one-of-a-kind work of art.  These lampshades are created from sliced geods and agates.  They are wrapped in copper foil (Tiffany-style) and placed together in unique shapes across a lampshade form.  Then pieces of stained glass are cut to fit in between the geods, and the entire lampshade is soldered together.  The top cap is a Tiffany-style branches piece of solid brass.  Since these are natural objects, imperfections will be present and are actually emphasized in the design.  The entire lampshade is finished off in a soft dark bronze/black patina.
