"Red Bull Bottles" panel: center is a red spun rondell (the "red bullseye"); the 4 green/yellowish-green circles are the bottoms from recycled wine bottles; the gold background glass is from a recycled residential sidelight from the 1970's; the blue and purple glass are left over from a restoration job at First United Methodist Church of Mercedes, Texas; the iridescent clear "bubble" glass is left over from a residential commission. Signed and dated by the artist. Framed in 1" American oak with 2 hanging eye screws. 21 1/4" wide x 15 1/4" high. Green Planet Glass products are made from glass recycled from other stained glass projects (i.e. church windows, residential commissions) and/or glass bottles. Normally stained glass cannot be recycled, and left-over pieces are sent to the landfill. Art Glass Ensembles supports the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" mantra, and has developed this line of stained glass products using only glass which would otherwise end up in a landfill.
